Australia Day – Gratitude for Food, Finances and Freedom

Celebrating Australia for ALL the Greatness

‘Cause We’re a Bludy Lucky Mob!’

There’s  no doubt that if I were alive and travelling at the time Peter Allen wrote “Still Call Australia Home“, I would have claimed he wrote it especially for me.

Do you know the song “I’ve been to cities that never shut down, from New York to Rome and old London town, but no matter how far or how wide I roam, I still call Australia home”.

I’ve been to some pretty special, shocking, suprising and even surreal places in the world, some experiences have reshaped my beliefs and reformed my life – to truly appreciate the Greatness of countries like Australia and that I can travel anywhere in the world and return to one of the friendliest, safest and ‘richest’ places on the planet.

So, on this Australia Day, I pay gratitude to all the people in this country (particulary to the indigenous people) and the world that continue to enrich and inspire my life – I’ll keep travelling and sharing what I know, to help others grow.  “Fair Dinkum, Australia’s bludy alright!”

Feeling grateful for today too?  Join me in a little sing-along with the Qantas Australian Childrens Choir, in hommage to Peter Allen, a brave and talented Australian that travelled the world sharing his gift in his greatness.

I want to also thank all the wonderful people around the world that look out for me and look after me when I’m travelling.  In 2009, I travelled the globe 3 times, it really makes a difference when you’ve people around you that care about you – and that dont mind a night out on the town!
