You’ve Got Your Rock Moves … AND …“

I recently accepted the privileged position of closing a Marketing, Sales and Business event - but THIS EVENT was not another  ‘vanilla/plain-wrapper/stock-standard/ho-hum’ event – THE RENEGADE ROCKSTAR ROADSHOW - for BSMs (you’ll have to figure out that one on your own) is no average Joe marketing, sales, biz event – it’s for hardcore, street-fighting entrepreneurs who want to interupt the status quo of how we let business get done by the ‘average Joe’.

(Ok, so you now know what the “S” stands for in BSM). Oh, and if you cant handle the “F” word, then the beginning of my 1st video below is DEFINITELY NOT for you! )

The event theme “Carve Your Name in the Rock of Business Awesomeness“ is the heart-space of the renegade, and extreme awesomeness organizers, hosts and presenters – Leela Cosgrove and Gulliver (aka Thor SalesWarlord). Yes, contrary to what you might think, these BSMs really DO have heart – they just express it in a way ‘average Joe’ might squrim about.

The undeniable truth is many entrepreneurs really DO feel out of place sometimes in the conventional business world.  They dont fit in to many of the social and business community norms so some have opted for belonging to the BSM Entrepreneur Alliance instead - it’s better than feeling awkward and uncomfortable and not fitting in anywhere else.  Now I dont consider myself a BSM, more a Rebel Entrepreneur, but I’m REALLY happy to ’play’ with anyone that wants to challenge the conventional and how business is done by the average Joe … and bring change and renewal and opportunity  and that’s exactly what these guys and their fanatical fans in the alliance do.  

The Leela and Thor combo give these peeps a very strong alliance, a community and a consciousness about their true greatness and well, (and these are my words) … they validate your inner greatness or awesomeness to forget (they would use a different F word there) … to forget convention and get on with building a business that matters – to you, your family and your community. 

In this presentation, that closed the Renegade Rockstar Roadshow – one of the ‘most awesomeness’ events I have attended in recent times, I share the harsh reality about what happens when these events end and everyone goes back home – that you go back into the ‘real world’ with all the usual negativity and nuisance voices, even from people with the best intentions … but they can SO easily put you off and kill that dream you just spent 2, 3, 4 or more days building and believing in again.  

WHY?  Because their voices of negativity – the doubt, fear and even disbelief – are the only ones you often hear.  And that nuisance voice of negativity that resides inside your own head starts agreeing with the external negativity to reaffirm “You CAN NOT do it!”.    

It’s a sad truth – many great entrepreneurs, with great ideas in their head and ideals in their heart - regardless of how they express it, simply give it all up because they just cant make all of it happen anymore – they’re starved of the single most powerful foundation for sustainable success. 

You Can Resist the Temptation to Quit and March On, but at times, the Journey of the Entrepreneur and Creating Greater Success WILL be Tough!

Even though you’re a Leader and Achiever, sometimes you want to give it all up, cause it all gets too much.  You are not the only one to feel that way.   You can go back to doing what and being who you were before a transformational event experience like the RRR … BUT that will be even tougher.  And there’s sure to be plenty of tears and tantrums if you do that too.  OR You can find a practical and powerful way forward that gives you that much-needed, truly appreciated and greatly craved foundation for sustainable and fruitful success … SUPPORT!! 

Without support to help elevate you, the struggle to get ahead feels like you’re ’fighting demons in the dark’.  You’re all alone at the top of your tree or tribe – because as entrepreneurs who lead, we are often alone, isolated, trying to figure it all out and still look good and also, unfortunately doing it all and not being appropriately SUPPORTED!  Even if you have a BIG BURN to do BIG THINGS in your Heart using your business and your products and services (and carve your name in the rock of business awesomeness), those demons-of-doubt can wear you down when you dont have anything or anyone else to draw on for support.  Someone to help you sort out your current block or a team of fellow entrepreneurs who happily rally behind you.  You need a team of other entrepreneurs just like you - who all support your BIG IDEAS and BIG IDEALS and that you want to support theirs too. 

But true growth and transcending to a bigger game requires even more that just general, good support and kindness and friendship – we ALL DO have that in some form or another, often from well-intentioned friends … and it’s not enough – not if you’re truly ‘playing a bigger game’!!   

This New Economy brings NEW OPPORTUNITIES for ENTREPRENEURS to do Great things in a Big way, to play the biggest game with an extra level of meaningful, valuable, practical AND powerful support.  Support that will empower you to build a better business – for you, your family and your marketplace.  What’s true about many entrepreneurs is that – given the chance – you really do want to lead, impact and influence an entire,  global marketplace – empowering, educating, enlightening, educating – whatever it is that you do.  And you can do that now, cause there’s a way forward that works and that gives you the right people around you – ‘Collaborators with Common Goals for a Common Marketplace’ - collectively bringing the changes you all want to make to ‘the world you live, work and sell in’.
