I first heard of Randy when he was on Oprah.

I read Randy’s book earlier this year… actually more to the point, I started it earlier this year but only recently finished reading it.

I started reading it the day I bought it, but every time I started reading it, I was so overcome with emotion, I’d cry! I put it aside until only a few months ago, then finished it over the next couple of nights (I still had a little cry reading it then).

For me the book was entertaining, inspiring and very emotional (I’m a big sook though!). I’ll definitely be reading it again and recommend others read it too.

I’m amazed at the strength and courage Randy displayed throughout his illness.

“Have something to bring to the table, because that will make you more welcome”… such simple, sensible and wise advice.

Thank you so much for sharing this inspirational video – what an amazing attitude he had & thank God he shared his pearls of wisdom with us all before his death. I had a nephew who sadly died from pancreatic cancer at the young age of 38 – so it really touched a nerve, but I was incredulous at how healthy Randy looked & how he was able to still do push-ups etc.

None of us knows what is around the corner, so dreaming dreams & living each day to the fullest, & not complaining (because there are so many others who are much worse off than us) – are very pertinent suggestions that he has made. The book sounds great, I will seek it out.
